First training for 2018

January 7th was our first training session for the new year.
We visited the local shrine to pay our New Year respects and make wishes for the coming year.
This year will bring alot of new experiences, it will be the first time my students will compete in tournaments, first gradings for some and alot of new experiences for me as a teacher.
My hope is we can grow the school and represent it to a high level.

Gasshuku and first grading

In December of 2017, we participated in our first Winter training camp and grading. It was a good experience for the students as they got to meet other students and instructors from the Hiroshima Honbu and Nishihara Shibu dojo. As well as Tabata Sensei from Tokyo. It was cold, but everyone did their best and the grading was completed with everyone giving their all.
